Especially in the early years of Wit & Delight, this platform was a place for me to process experiences and feelings, including those that didn’t yet make sense to me. I’ve written personal essays on relationships, mental health, parenting, and what home means to me, among so many other things. In my twenties and thirties, this kind of forum for self-expression and discovery was just what I needed. There was something soothing about the process, and it helped me grow into the person I was slowly becoming.
Today I am sharing a selection of personal essays I have published over the past fourteen years on Wit & Delight.
Writing these articles allowed me to get into the softer parts of myself. They were written to help me deal with my own emotions and also in the hope that others might resonate with my words. I hope you will enjoy seeing them again.
