China’s producer prices continue to fall, consumer inflation unexpectedly flat in June

Core consumer prices, excluding volatile food and energy prices, rose 0.4% year-on-year, the least since March 2021, after rising 0.6% in May.

On a monthly basis, consumer prices unexpectedly fell 0.2%, the fifth straight month of declines, and compared to the consensus of a flat impression.
