Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) has just issued a warning to “socialists and communists” that they are not welcome in Florida, causing a real meltdown among Democrats and the media.
The video posted by the Republican sends a strong message, even if it was clearly ironic.
“I warn socialists and communists not to go to Florida. They are not welcome in the Sunshine State,” he tweeted.
“We are the Free State of Florida. In fact, we don’t believe in socialism, we know people, some people in our state have lived under it, and we know people who have lived under socialism. This is not good,” Scott added in his video commentary. “We love freedom, liberty, capitalism, things like that.”

Scott Issues Warning to Communists Considering Florida
Curiously, the video went viral and sparked outrage from our friends on the left who assumed any mention of “communists” had to apply to them.
The video has been viewed almost 25 million times, even though it is a repost of a video he made six days ago. The first video garnered less than 70,000 views, which means it took almost an entire week for the Liberals to realize they were mad about it.
And even then, it is clearly a satirical version of the travel advisory issued by the NAACP last month. It is therefore not to be taken seriously.
The NAACP issued an “advisory” warning black Americans against traveling to the state of Florida, indicating that he is “openly hostile” to blacks.

Scott at the time issued the first version of his counter-opinion.
“Florida is openly hostile to socialists, communists and those who empower them,” reads his version.
Scott warned that before “traveling to Florida, please understand that the state of Florida devalues and marginalizes the contributions and challenges facing socialists and others working in the Biden administration.”

Liberals outraged by insult to Communists
After failing to grasp the satirical tone of Scott’s Florida travel advisory, media liberals and their Democratic cohorts expressed outrage that communists were unwelcome.
Nina Turner, a former Ohio State Senator and chair of Bernie Sanders’ 2020 campaign, said the message was “extremely inappropriate at best, threatening at worst.”

It’s neither…but it’s East hilarious that Turner didn’t get the joke.
Former Republican Representative and current Democratic court jester Joe Walsh suggested the Florida senator was promoting an “anti-freedom” message.
Florida, the anti-freedom state. Excellent message Senator. https://t.co/aBGHX7U59P

Don’t worry, Joe. The only travel advisory you’ll have to worry about is if Scott decides loose-jawed yokels aren’t allowed in Florida.
Rick Wilson, co-founder of
the young male grooming organization the Lincoln Project, which once claimed to be a bunch of real Republicans who just didn’t like Donald Trump, was practically beside itself.
“Feaked out about the imaginary communists,” he scoffed. “Quiet on Real Nazis and the Growing Klan Presence in Florida.”
Panicked by imaginary communists.

No, Frederick. He definitely calls the real Nazis. That is why Democrats are so crazy.
MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan also took Rick Scott’s travel warning very seriously.
Quite normal for a US senator to tell millions of Americans not to visit his home country because of their political views. https://t.co/Id9mh961lh

This would all be funny if it weren’t for the fact that two New York Democrats have already publicly declared that their political opponents should leave their state. And unlike Scott’s video, they were very serious about it.
In January 2014, then-Governor Andrew Cuomo said that not everyone is welcome in New York State. Cuomo said Second Amendment supporters, traditional marriage supporters and those who are pro-life “have no place in New York State.”
Cuomo’s message was so successful that his successor, Governor Kathy Hochul, essentially delivered the same remarks.
“Just hop on a bus and head to Florida, where you belong. OK?” she said of the Republicans. “Get out of town. Because you don’t represent our values.

I don’t know why the Democrats would even do it to want travel to Florida anyway. Democratic strategist Aisha Mills recently falsely claimed that Florida was on the verge of becoming a “terror state.”

It’s crazy. Florida will only become a terror state if the Socialists, Communists and Democrats keep pushing their way south.
