Artist and conservative activist Scott LoBaido has launched a protest against New York City’s crackdown on coal and wood ovens that has led him to throw several pizzas at City Hall.

Scott LoBaido received a summons for throwing pizza at New York City Hall in protest after Democrats began a crackdown on charcoal-oven pizzerias.

NYC pizza protest

FoxNews reported that on Monday, LoBaido threw several cheese pizzas over the New York City Hall fence in response to the city’s crackdown on traditional pizza ovens. This repression will force many pizzeria owners to pay tens of thousands of dollars, just so their ovens can meet the city’s new woke carbon emissions standards.

“The woke idiots who run this city are doing everything in their power to destroy it,” LoBaido said as he stood outside City Hall. “We have naked men with their ties bouncing all over town yesterday, in public, in front of children. We have the most violent and rampant crime rate ever. We are overrun with illegal immigrants who are much better treated than our homeless veterans.

“Our teachers and first responder heroes who were fired (are) still not being compensated because they didn’t take Fauci’s injection,” he continued. “Our city schools produce the dumbest kids and woke punks who run New York S—-are they afraid of pizza? The world used to respect New Yorkers as tough, badass and badass. Now we’ve become pussified.

“Give us pizza or give us death”

Video of LoBaido’s protest, which has since gone viral, shows him approaching City Hall with several boxes of pizza in his hands as he invokes the Boston Tea Party.

“Well… it’s the New York Pizza Party!” Give us pizza or give us death! he said before opening the boxes and starting to throw the pizzas over the fence.

“Give us pizza or give us death!” he sang over and over as he tossed the pizzas. “Destroying all the small businesses is what this town keeps doing. Can’t have a small business? Can’t eat pizza? New York City is nothing without pizza.

Mayor Eric Adams responds

Mayor Eric Adams (D) reportedly responded to the protest by defending his new regulations.

“Every toxic entity that we remove from our air adds to the general desire to deal with reducing our carbon footprint,” Adams said, according to fox business. “And the public can weigh in without throwing pizza over my door. They could have delivered the pie to me and allowed me to eat the pie and sit in the COW and have a chat with me.

“And so, I’m going to call the person who threw a pizza over my door and tell them that they need to bring me a vegan pie, so we can sit down, and I want to hear their version of that,” he continued. .

It remains to be seen if LoBaido and Adams will actually meet.

Coal Furnace Suppression

This came after the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) released draft new rules that would require pizza restaurants with charcoal and wood-fired ovens installed before 2016 to reduce carbon emissions. 75% carbon by installing a filter. They would then have to hire an engineer who would perform regular carbon emissions inspections.

“All New Yorkers deserve to breathe clean air, and wood and coal stoves are among the biggest contributors of harmful pollutants in neighborhoods with poor air quality,” the spokesperson said. DEP, Ted Timbers. “This common sense (sic) rule, developed with environmental justice and restoration groups, requires professional review of the feasibility of installing emissions controls.”

Unfortunately for pizzeria owners, they will have to pay thousands of dollars just to comply with these regulations.

“Oh yeah, that’s a big expense,” said a pizzeria owner in Brooklyn. “It’s not just the cost of installation, it’s maintenance. I have to pay someone to do it, to go in there every two weeks and hose it down and, you know, do the maintenance.

Liberals claim to like peaceful protests, so the wacky leftists who currently rule New York should have no problem with the LoBaido protest. Our hearts go out to the owners of small New York pizzerias who will be negatively impacted by these new regulations.
