Think back to 2017, when a New York theater company staged a version of Shakespeare’s play Julius Caesar with Trump as the main characterso they can show Trump being assassinated on stage?

They are now laying off 19% of their staff because they are totally squeezed by Biden’s economy and inflation. Isn’t that just awful?

It’s probably safe to assume that everyone who works for this company voted for Biden. Hopefully they are still happy with their choice.

Breitbart News reports:

New York theater behind Trump assassination ‘Julius Caesar’ staging lays off 19% of staff

New York’s prestigious Public Theater – which staged the assassination of President Donald Trump in its infamous production of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar in 2017 – is laying off 19% of its staff as it faces a catastrophic financial crisis caused by falling attendance and soaring operating costs.

Public theater executives announced on Friday that nearly one in five workers would receive a pink slip in a bid to save the institution. Artistic director Oskar Eustis told The New York Times that attendance fell 30% while theater costs skyrocketed by as much as 45%.

“We have kept our donor base, but it is static. Put it all together and you get budget deficits – big budget deficits,” he said.

Eustis directed the 2017 Audience in Central Park production of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar in which the title character was costumed to look like President Donald Trump. The assassination scene showed Trump being stabbed to death in a violent melee of knifeplay in the US Senate.

It couldn’t happen to a better band.

THE @PublicTheaterNY, an Off Broadway nonprofit that is one of the nation’s most successful theater organizations, is laying off 19% of its staff as the field grapples with declining revenues and rising costs. Here is a giveaway link to the story: https://t.co/u2TCQZnagX
