Social Health Connection will provide education, resources and connection to help support and influence health leaders so they can learn and grow! We also announce and honor the winners of the Social Health Awardwhere Health Union recognizes and celebrates the important work of health leaders.

What is social health?
Social health is the dynamic, real-time actions people take to find meaningful connections and share information that impacts health journeys. It’s about connecting with others, learning ways to share your story and have an impact on health care.
Login history
Prior to 2020, Connexion was held in person in Philadelphia for our Contract Healthcare Leaders. Since then, the Connexion conference has been virtual. Regardless of the format, Connexion continues to prioritize promoting connections, education and growth each year. We had the pleasure of having speakers Nora McInerny, Tyler Campbell, Rebecca Taussigand others join us to discuss important topics such as:
- Medical gas lighting
- Managing patient burnout
- Using social media as a health leader
- Tapping into your self-esteem
Connection 2023
This year marks our 7th annual conference, which will take place virtually on July 25-26. We will begin with a warm welcome from the leadership team of the Health Union.
For 2 days, registrants will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about health leadership, new techniques and online advocacy tools
- Plan advocacy objectives
- Share your experiences and engage with health leaders in nearly 50 disease communities and the Health Social Network
But that’s not all. For the first time, we will be announcing a new all-in-one certification program. The Patient Leader Certification Program will help you take your healthcare leadership skills to the next level. We will end with the Social Health Awards Ceremony, where we will honour, recognize and celebrate the work of health leaders across all health domains and platforms.
